I’ve been there. The constant noise can drain your creativity and make even the most confident of creatives feel that aren’t quite hitting the mark. In retail, we must develop ideas and products so quickly that quite often it feels that we don’t have time to have a crisis of confidence.
Having worked as a designer in retail for 15 years I had many moments where I was plagued with overwhelm. Ideas rarely flow when we are chained to our desks. In fact, this can breed anxiety and self-doubt. Taking time away to get creative and bounce around ideas the old-fashioned way will make you focused and give you that self-belief you need to finally put that pen to paper again.
During our intensive creative kick tarting day we get back to basics. Prior to the day we will have a 1 hour Skype so that I really get to know your business and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. This is so that on the day we can launch straight into it, prittstick in hand to start creating those mood boards which will give you focus for your future projects.

Prior to the day to make sure I know everything about you and your business so that we can spring into action from the minute you arrive for your session.
Trend Forecasting
This can be a major point of concern when you are a business owner. Are you hitting trends at the right time? How do you do it? How do you make them work for your business? This can be overwhelming but I want to show you it doesn’t need to be.
Customer Analysis
Who is your target customer? Here we get into the mind set of your customer a little more so that we can apply the trends in a considered way.
Creative Moodboarding Session
Using everything we have learned about trends and your customer we start to pull together mood boards and product ideas that will give you some clarity and direction for future projects.
After the kick starter session, you will have a better understand of trends and how you can use them within your business. You will clear idea of what new and exciting products you are going to develop that your customers will love and want to buy. I will also be available for the following week on Skype or WhastApp for any further questions.
